Volunteering in North London

Volunteering in North London

Sport Makers ambassador, Sir Steve Redgrave, visited North London Sport Makers at Middlesex University on Wednesday 30th November 2011. This was just one of the inspirational events that occurred during Sport Makers helping result in London Sport to finish SECOND nationally for number of Sport Makers that delivered 10+ Sport Maker hours.

Would you like to become involved in sports volunteering in North London?

If it wasn’t for the incredible numbers of people who use their time to enable others to do sport - be it in a formal or an informal setting - community sport would grind to a halt.  Whether you want to organise a group of people to go running once a week, coach a  5-a-side football team, run a squash club or even serve the teas at their local cricket club – you can make sport happen and help improve community sport in your area by registering your interest below.

If you were part of the Sport Makers project and have already registered – thank you!  The first phase of programme is now coming to a close, but don’t worry we, as your CSP, will keep in touch with touch with you to let you know about the volunteering opportunities in your area.

You can also keep in touch by signing up to Be Inspired – the essential email that started with London 2012 and is now the biggest source of sport, volunteering and culture in the UK.  Sign up here for Be Inspired.
