In conjunction with our partners, we are looking to appoint a new Community Rugby Coach to work in specific boroughs in Sutton & Merton, starting in October, initially for a fixed term of 12 months. This scheme is managed by Sport England with the support of the Department for Culture Media and Sport.
We are looking for a Community Rugby Coach in Sutton and Merton:
To interact with the local clubs in order to ascertain their individual delivery & development needs.
To deliver coaching to young people in the 9-21 age group in local schools, colleges and universities, community and club settings in Sutton & Merton.
To introduce leadership skills to young people and provide ongoing support and sustainability by delivering teacher and coach education.
To take a professional approach in the planning, preparation and organisation of coaching sessions.
