The Level 1 Award is for anyone aged 16 or over who is interested in coaching Basketball
The UKCC Level 1 Award in Coaching Basketball (L1ACBB) is for anyone over the age of 16 who is interested in coaching/ working with grass roots clubs / teams and junior players. The course is an introduction to the practical and theoretical aspects of coaching basketball. It provides candidates with the basic knowledge of Basketball and coaching skills and enables the holder to assist more qualified coaches with delivering aspects of coaching sessions. The qualification is an Assistant Coach Award, and is focused on developing ‘how to coach skills’. This is a 3 day course and attendance on all 3 days is necessary in order to pass the course. Sat 7th July & Sat 14th July 2012. Venue: Southgate College, N14. Cost: £175 or FREE for 16 – 18 year olds. Concessions are also available for unemployed adults.
