As a coach an understanding of the basic training principles for sport are essential for providing the most accurate, effective, and safe advice to your athletes. Whether you are working in an elite environment, or at grass roots level the principles remain the same. This workshop introduces you to accurate planning, and best practice for safe and effective delivery specific to your sport.
This 1 day practical workshop allows candidates; to identify and classify energy systems role in the body and relate them to their sporting context; to present and identify energy systems and how they relate to a variety of different sports and how to identify these through simple analysis; to be able to run safe and effective practice in: Dynamic warm up, aerobic/ anaerobic/ blow outs and upper/ lower body field drills with the use of minimal equipment.Region: Central London
